Everyone always leaves the tiny town of Norse Ridge, Minnesota. If you want the best opportunities, you have to search for them elsewhere. Still, Danny is shocked when he finds out that his best friend Dolly and her family are planning on moving to the Twin Cities, leaving Norse Ridge behind. But when Danny uncovers a plot to find ancient treasure in the sinkhole underneath the town, He becomes convinced that if they find the treasure his friend won't have to leave. Helped by their classmates Mulch and Amazon Shawn, Danny and Dolly use their teacher's abandoned treasure map to search for the ultimate prize - a long sought after Spanish treasure.
Have you ever wished you could sit and watch The Goonies with your kids but they are unwilling to spend their time on a pure nostalgia flick from the '80s? This book has all the Goonies vibes, and after they read it they will be hooked. This one is a great fit for kids who like adventure or comedy.
