Alice see's a white rabbit and follows him down an Alaskan glacier and into a rabbit hole. There she discovers a world of topsy-turvy fun and silliness as characters like the Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of hearts come to life in this retelling of the classic tale by Lewis Carroll.

The story is set in Alaska with winter animals and fun additional information about the history of Alaska along with Jan Brett's stunning illustrations.

It's the first snowfall of the season and the white snow is magically sparkling in the sun. It's a snow day and a young child is anxious to go outside to play in the snow, build a snowman, and have a snowball fight. Then after a fun day in the snow it's time to snuggle down in front of the fire with a blanket, some cookies, and hot chocolate.

This is a perfect book to read to help kick off the winter season.
