When it is time for bed, Sleepy Sheepy's exhausted parents tell him that it is time to go to sleep. But despite how sleepy our little sheep looks, he says that he is not sleepy! Instead he goes on to stall bedtime by playing with blocks, knitting socks, getting a bedtime snack, and all kinds of mischief before he begins to realize that he just might be sleepy after all.  

This rhyming picture book is perfect to read to littles ones before bedtime. Toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy this silly story with fun illustrations by Pete Oswald and a relatable story by Lucy Ruth Cummins  that parents will find entertaining as well.
