How to Apologize

What is an apology? Why would someone (or some-animal in this case) need to apologize? How do you apologize? These are some very important questions that are answered in this book. LaRochelle and Wohnoutka (who teamed up for the Geisel Award winning book See the Cat) have teamed up again to deliver another great book for kids. Albeit not quite as hilarious as the aforementioned See the Cat (though really, what could be funnier than that book?), they do insert some comedy into what can be a very serious subject for children (just take a look at the apology letter Snail sends to Sloth). Wohnoutka’s brilliant illustrations of animals portray various concepts of LaRochelle’s information about apologies. This is a great book to read for anyone who is trying to teach young kids the importance of saying “I’m sorry!”
