A little ghost is sad because he is a quilt. All of his friends and family are sheets. They can swoop and fly and do many amazing ghostly things. Unfortunately, the little ghost can't because he is a quilt. He can't fly fast because he's too heavy, he often gets sweaty because of all his fabric layers, and he can't blend in with Halloween decorations. The poor little ghost feels very sorry for himself until one fateful Halloween night he goes on an adventure that no other ghost could. Maybe being a quilt isn't so bad?
This is an adorable read for Halloween and teaching children that it's ok to be different. The little ghost's frustration with being different is relatable and not overly dramatized. This book can be a great introduction to celebrating differences and can also open conversations about bullying and not judging others. A great read for an October night.
