Flubby is not a very impressive pet. Unlike some other pets Flubby doesn't seem to enjoy jumping, or playing fetch, or any other sort of trick. Flubby only seems to want to yawn, stretch, and lay down. Not exactly the most exciting of things for a pet to do. But, sometimes, being impressive isn't the best way to be a pet. During a scary situation, Flubby proves that tricks don't mean everything, and sometimes all you need is someone to love and comfort you.

J. E. Morris's funny and sweet book about a seemingly useless pet will appeal to cat and animal lovers, especially those who don't have the most impressive pets of their own and know the true value of a friend.

If You Like...Dungeons and Dragons

Great news for adventurous, imaginative tweens: we are starting a Dungeons & Dragons program! Nine- to twelve-year-olds are invited to join a tabletop role playing quest in the Story Room on Monday September 14 from 6:30-8:00PM. All experience levels are welcome.
