Best friends Avalon and Atticus are excited to be ten. Atticus’ grandpa tells them about how in their tenth year they will get their “infinity powers” or a magical ability to do something that only happens when they are ten. However, with bullying and trouble at home Avalon’s life is as unpredictable as when her infinity powers might come—which doesn’t help when trouble starts brewing between the best friends. This story pours Avalon’s heart out on the page and readers can’t help but cheer for Avalon, boo the bullies, and hope that the best-friendship will last through it all.
