I Am a Tiger
By Karl Newson
Illustrated by Ross Collins
A mouse goes and announces to the world that it is a tiger. When a raccoon questions the declaration, the mouse continues in the assurances that it is a tiger. Other animals—including a tiger—come and refute the claim, yet the mouse convinces them all of who he is. Then the mouse tells everyone else just what they “really” are as well. This is a clever story that will get kids snickering when thinking about what is really a tiger (or other animals). Such fun!
