This is one of the sweetest books I have read this year! In it there are five elephants that parade around (thus the title). There are few words on each page, and many bits are repeated—which makes this book perfect for the littlest readers who have short attention spans. Also, I love the sweet little ending of how the elephants go to sleep (which due to my love of stars and the night sky really made me happy). Basically, this is a good book to read to littles before they head to bed—especially if they like elephants. Well done, Kevin Henkes. Well done!

She becomes determined to find new foods and flavors, so Umami begins a journey across the sea in search of something different to eat.
