I Feel Teal

I Feel Teal
By Lauren Rille and Aimee Sicuro
Beach Lane Books, 2018. Picture book.

As a grown-up, I often take for granted that I can pull out lots of different ways to describe how I am feeling and why. This book covers a lot of emotions a young person might feel, and describes these emotions with pages full of color. This book provides ample opportunities to discover a full range of emotions and colors - everything from lilac to ecru - and shows that even though you may wake up rosy pink, by the end of the day you might be feeling blue, and that's okay. If you are looking for a gentle introduction to emotions for your little person, this book is a great place to start.
