This is a darling new series for younger readers by the writer of the successful Princess Diaries series. Olivia is an appealing character who learns, like her big sister, that being a princess is more than wearing fancy dresses and living in a castle. The book has several black and white illustrations, some of which are by the author, who, like Olivia, likes to draw animals.
