Some animals look pretty strange. Have you ever wondered why? In this informational picture book the author asks 25 animals why they look the way they do, and the animals give their answers. The book is full of interesting, bite-sized facts. Did you know that a dearleaf nosed bat uses his nose to help him navigate while he is flying at night? The book is illustrated with Jenkins' amazingly realistic cut-paper art. This is a great STEM title for lower or upper grade school children.
