Nine Words Max
by Dan Bar-El
illustrated by David Huyck
Young Prince Maximilian questions everything and talks non-stop. His older brothers finally have had enough and ask the royal wizard to do something to stop him. The solution is a curse that allows Max to only speak nine words at a time. Normally, this would be a fabulous thing. However, a neighboring queen is coming to visit while their own parents are away. It is up to the four boys to welcome her and show her the respect her position deserves. Unfortunately, the three older boys don't know anything about proper salutations and manners and poor Max can't speak enough words to instruct everyone. Will the visit be a disaster? Or will Max be able to save the day? This is a cute and funny picture book for all ages.
