It's bed time and the kids want a story.  When Daddy tries the books on the shelf, the kids complain that they have heard them before. Finally Daddy decides to make up a story for them.  It starts out as a princess story, but Dad can tell he is losing the interest of his little son, so he adds a monster truck.  The story moves back and forth between the boy's interests and the girl's until it comes to a spectacular ending that only a really cool dad could make up. Energetic ink and watercolor illustrations and crazy type setting add even more fun to an already fun story. This is a great affirmation for bedtime-story-telling dads everywhere.
