Patrick is your typical active, little boy - though a little fuzzier than most. In this reader-friendly graphic novel we see four examples of what a day in Patrick's life is like. Despite his protests at dinnertime his mother makes "little green balls of mushy poison!" Of course he ends up eating them in his own unique way. Patrick then spends a day "helping" his father and keeping his mother company. When it is time for Patrick's bath he has a little too much fun and is disappointed to find out bedtime is imminent. Not surprisingly, Patrick does everything possible to delay the inevitable. Finally his parents think he is asleep so they can get some much deserved peace and quiet only to be startled by a final entertaining plea from adorable Patrick. If you haven't already read Patrick in a Teddy Bear's Picnic , then do so as well. These graphic novels are perfect for all ages, and sure to bring laughs to many adults as they relate to Patrick's parents' loving exasperation.
