Theodora is a unique duck who lives in a little house. She has a daily routine that can not be disrupted. Every day she practices wingspan exercises (though she rides her bike everywhere), swimming - with a full teacup on her head, and she shops at the local store for her favorite mango salsa. These are all perfectly ducky things to do, aren't they? Her life is so perfect that she hopes nothing will ever change. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. Someone moves in next door. And it is quickly apparent the new neighbor is a very odd duck, at least by Theodora's standards. She decided there was no way they could be friends. When winter came along all of the other ducks flew south except the two quirky neighbors. Theodora realizes Chad might not be the only odd duck in the neighborhood. The two embrace their differences and finally become friends. Readers of all ages will enjoy this graphic novel and will learn a valuable life lesson in the process.
