Horse Bramble has grown weary of giving the same old riding lessons day in and day out. She seeks a prospective buyer and falls in love with Maggie, who is a little horse aficionado. Maggie has never owned her own horse before, so she has a lot to learn about caring for Bramble. Bramble, used to walking in circles every day, has a lot to learn about patience and new activities. The art in this book is beautiful and adds to the comforting story of changes and friendship. This middle-level easy reader is informative and nicely suited to young animal lovers.
