A Seed Is Sleepy introduces the life cycle of a seed, using easy-to-read text and brightly painted beautiful pictures. While it is very informative, it does it passively, instead reading more like a picture book. This should attract children of all ages – especially those who avoid the non-fiction area. A shoe-in for the Caldecott!
