I have an awesome extended family. One of those awesome extended family member's is my Aunt Susie. I remember Aunt Susie taking my twin sister and me to the Hogle Zoo as kids. We walked through the different exhibits and saw all kinds of animals. At one point, we came to a section that housed rainforest animals and there was a donation machine where all proceeds went towards helping save the rainforest. I was SO excited when Aunt Susie gave each of us a dollar to put in the machine. That was about 30 years ago, but I still remember how excited I was to find out that my dollar could help a place and animals all the way across the world. To learn more about the plants and animals of the rainforest and how you can help preserve them for future generations, read on!
