A little boy makes a
list of his wishes for something extraordinary. Starting with the usual: “I
wish I could fly!” And then getting more and more creative: “I wish the rain
came in seven different colors. And flavors!” After reaching the end of his
imagination, the boy soberly wishes something extraordinary would happen in
real life. At that moment he notices a scene right in front of him full of the
extraordinary wonder of everyday life. This whimsical book celebrates both the
exuberant joys of imagination and the quiet joys of closely observing the world
around us.
