Tad the tadpole is so proud of his dad, with his big, buggy
eyes, strong legs for jumping, and huge mouth that can fill the whole pond with
his singing. Dad is so proud of Tad as he watches him grow legs and helps him
learn to jump and catch bugs! There is only one problem: with all the wiggling,
croaking, and kicking going on at night on their lily pad bed, Dad can’t get
any sleep. The humor increases as exuberant Tad gets bigger and stronger and
poor Dad gets more and more tired. Dad finally decides to kick junior out of
the bed, but then finds that he misses him more than expected. A great choice
for all sleep-deprived fathers.
