Alex Sennefer has always been frail, but doctors don't know what is wrong with him.  When he has an especially bad spell, his mother, who is an Egyptian archaeologist, uses the ancient Egyptian magic from the Book of the Dead to save his life. When she does she unwittingly opens the doors of the underworld and evil beings begin to emerge into the living world.  Alex and his friend team up with another archaeologist to try to send the Death Walkers back where they belong.  This is an exciting new adventure series for boys or girls who like supernatural thrillers like Percy Jackson and Harry Potter.
