In this delightful board book a boy talks about overcoming common childhood fears. Each double-page spread includes a fear he used to have and how he changed the fear into a positive experience. For example, he used to be afraid of the dark, but then he saw the stars shine. Gillingham's illustrations are fun and perfect for little ones. This is a great book about fear to read with your toddler or preschooler. 

Other books by Krensky and Gilligham include I Can Do It Myself and Now I Am Big.

Great news for adventurous, imaginative tweens: we are starting a Dungeons & Dragons program! Nine- to twelve-year-olds are invited to join a tabletop role playing quest in the Story Room on Monday September 14 from 6:30-8:00PM. All experience levels are welcome.
