Squirrel, who is always moving and talking at a frantic pace, is determined to have a very fun day! When Mouse is too busy to have fun, Squirrel helps her with her chores. When Turtle is too sleepy, Squirrel helps him to get energized. And when Rabbit doesn't want to try something new, Squirrel helps him to venture out. The four short chapters are funny, and engaging for young readers. The ink and watercolor artwork is a wonderful, classic touch. This easy reader is a great choice for fans of Lobel's Frog and Toad or Bunting's Frog and Friends!
