This book is an imaginative and hopeful exploration of the possibilities of stars. With a star pinned to your shirt, you can live the life of a sheriff. You can put one in your pocket, and reach for it on the "days you don't feel shiny." Stars is a quietly uplifting pick for a bedtime read-aloud, and will guarantee sweet dreams! I hope it is picked as a Caldecott Honor.
