Sophie is a girl who must leave everything behind in order to save those she loves. When a mysteriously handsome boy appears one day, he reveals to her that, unlike the rest of her family, she is not human. She is of an ancient race that humans don’t even believe in anymore. She is an elf. Forced to leave the only life she has ever known, Sophie is sent to another world to learn about her true heritage and the powers that come with it. But even in the elven lands, Sophie finds that she is something out of the ordinary. And that difference just might get her killed.

This fun and fast paced novel will greatly appeal to both male and female fans of series like Fablehaven, Harry Potter, and the Percy Jackson. Young readers will also soon be clamoring for the sequel which comes out later this year.
